Services provided by Virginia Paranormal Society
Private Residences: The most common case we are contacted for is private homes. Virginia Paranormal Society handles these cases with the utmost amount of respect and privacy for the client. We will do our best and use every tool we have to provide assistance and find answers to people who need our help. We investigate from a scientific/skeptical perspective, and we firmly believe that most “hauntings” are from a natural source. With that being said we always have an open mind and are there to find the truth, and not to just to prove it wrong. We believe that if you eliminate all the natural explanations you can think of, then it’s more likely you are left with something paranormal.
If it does appear you have a haunting, then our staff will provide you with copies of all evidence collected and try to provide you with answers in a timely manner. We will also stand by you after an investigation and help you seek further assistance be it from clergy or spiritual advisors in accordance with your belief. VPS does not investigate, and then leave you wondering what to do with the evidence.
Business/Historical/Commercial Locations:Virginia Paranormal Society and its members have conducted investigation at several business’s and historic locations across the state of Virginia. These types of investigations are usually done to confirm or deny rumors of a haunting or experiences of staff. This is one of the most common services provided and VPS is happy to help any location free of charge.
Public Speaking/Lectures: Virginia Paranormal Society members would be glad to speak at your event. We have a very diverse and knowledgeable team willing to speak on any aspect of paranormal investigation and research. Listed below are some of our members and topics they enjoy speaking on:

Peer Review/Consulting: Think you may have evidence that you would like us to look at? We are always happy to lend a hand and with our team of investigators and trained associates from specialized fields, we can help you to identify the possible source of your evidence. We are also happy to lend a hand to newer teams starting up.
Public Events/Fundraising Workshops: Virginia Paranormal Society conducts occasional public lectures and fundraising workshops to help cover the costs of equipment and running a paranormal team, and to help educate the public in the field of paranormal research. These events are held in the form of public investigations and local haunted sites, or lectures at a library. We are also happy to hold events to help historical sites help raise money for restorations/costs of upkeep. If you have any questions just ask us!!!
